"Soul on Fire"

Discover a radically different way of perceiving and relating to the world around us. How we perceive the world determines our experience of the world because the world adapts and adjusts itself according to our perception. This new way of "perceiving" can free us from the false belief systems of our time. These false "belief systems" which are reinforced daily by the religious, political, educational and even scientific establishments, have become the "consensus reality" of our culture. They are the chains which bind us and the prison walls that confine us. They are the cause of all suffering in our world.

with Kofi Busia

"Iyengar: The Yoga Master"

Proceeds from the book will go to Bellur Charitable Trust, created by Iyengar to serve Bellur, the village of his birth.

Well-known contributors from the world of yoga celebrate the life and work of the great yoga pioneer B.K.S. Iyengar in this collection. Iyengar, who celebrates 70 years as a yoga teacher this year, is an Indian yoga master, revered as the single most influential person in spreading the teachings of yoga throughout the world. Iyengar was recognized in Time magazine's 2004 list of the 100 most powerful and influential people in the world.

Compiled and introduced by Kofi Busia, one of Iyengar's dedicated students, and the teacher of many well-known instructors popular today, these writings represent an internationally diverse group of Iyengar yoga teachers, as well as several celebrities who feel deep gratitude to Iyengar yoga. This is the only book about Iyengar as seen through the eyes of close friends and senior students. It offers a deep understanding of the man, as well as his unique approach to yoga and the human mind and body.
